  1. USA tends to lag because of fragmented telecommunications.
  2. Too many features is bad. KISS.
  3. Mixing too many tools into one device leads to confusion manufacturers and consumers.
  4. Consumers are not (in focus groups) good at predicting killer applications like SMS(short messaging service).
  5. different locales have different cultures and so need different interfaces, functions, languages, character sets.
  6. Classes of usage: self_enhancement, relationships, entertainment, commerce(THEY). With the user in the center...
  7. The future mobile device is very ha to predict.
  8. Don't expect a single user interface standard or OS.
  9. Highly usable system are not a high priority, yet.
  10. Expect commodity devices and conspicuous consumer devices.
  11. How to grow and advance data service: start doing one useful thing well.
  12. General mobile data services are not going to arrive soon. Vertical markets however are already happening.

• PageRank formula had bad performance and relevance. Hubs and authorities may not be about medical things -- Adobe's page for example is an authority to define PDF!
• Breadth-first+priorities worked as well as a simulated Hopfield neural net at spotting relevant web sites.
